Expats from 35 banned countries continue staying for 14 days in a transit country

According to the officials, the expats from banned countries are required to stay in a non-banned country for a period of 14 days before heading to Kuwait, reports Al Qabas. Upon arrival they will be subjected to institutional quarantine in a hotel for a week at their own expense, followed by a home quarantine for a week. PCR negative certificate of 72 hours validity is required with registration on Kuwait Moussafir App.

Currently, 1,000 passengers are allowed to enter Kuwait per day, it is expected to continue after February 21st until further notice.
